Successfully taught Dylan how to ride a two-wheeler yesterday! A great feeling of accomplishment, akin to, say, winning on a major syndicated game show. Just without all the cash.
Here’s a moment of Wordplay Wednesday, delayed only because I didn’t think of it until Thursday. There is only one consecutive eight-letter stretch of the alphabet that can be anagrammed into a set of two common English words. (Like “n-o-p-q-r-s-t-u” could anagram to “quorp nst,” if “quorp” and “nst” were common English words.) There’s also only one such nine-letter stretch. What are they, and what are the anagrams?
Edited to add: solved here–human beats computer!
