Pic Tac Toe Grinch

After Yukon Cornelius and Frosty the Snowman, I now present: The Grinch.

One of these squares is quite timely.

I realize I need to branch out on certain images. This is at least the second appearance of The Sandlot, and I think that is weird.

I know 7 themes. Not sure about the Right Column. I assume that last theme will tell me (1) what kind of bird is in #6 and (2) why you chose that particular Star Wars carved pumpkin for #3.

If I had to guess:
Spoiler: show
Right Column: BIRDS (Falcon, ?, Seahawk)

I thought it might be NFL BIRDS but that just leaves the Ravens, Cardinals, and Eagles.

I saw two themes for the Bottom Row.

Your guess is accurate. It is a bird...

Spoiler: show
...of prey.

I was just thinking Birds of Prey.

Millenium Falcon.
Falcon.
Seahawk.

For the bottom row, I was mostly thinking of just one theme. I wonder, is one of your themes color related?

Yep.

Spoiler: show
Bottom Row: BRIGHT GREEN or FRUITY FLAVORS

I'll let Bill (or someone else, but probably not) take a crack at the other 6 themes. By the way, I looked up Herb Washington, because I wondered, "Why Herb Washington?" Based on what I read on Wikipedia, that example is incredibly rare.

Yes, I thought the Herb Washington thing was interesting. I even saw him referenced in an article about the recent Congressional baseball game. It called one member of congress the "Herb Washington" of the congressional league.

Breaking news update: I guess the "Childish Radical" video ad worked... or at least it didn't hurt.

And yes, for the bottom row, I was thinking...

Spoiler: show
...fruit flavors.

I've made 8 Pic Tac Toes in the past few months (not including the sibling-album-cover puzzle).

After looking at all the Pic Tac Toes together, I realize they offer an insight into my interests... which seem surprisingly narrow. I might be done with Pic Tac Toes for a while, but if I start again, I will do my best to avoid these topics:

Star Wars and Star Wars parody films - 9 images

NFL - 6 images

MLB - 6 images

Angry people - 6 images

Trucks - 4 images

The Sandlot - 2 images

And these are all crucial concepts to solving the puzzle. So when I say "angry people", I mean that was basically 2 themes (6 images). I need more connections in my brain to more things. Star Wars takes up a lot of space.

Clearly, Bill is either stumped, or he saw that watermelon baseball and started an obsessive 4th of July decorating plan.

Here are my guesses for the remaining 6 themes.

Spoiler: show
Top Row: STAR WARS ACTORS
Middle Row: -INCH (Pinch, Grinch, Winch)

Left Column: BASEBALL
Middle Column: -OFF (Jon Ossoff, Boris Karloff, Smirnoff Ice)

159 Diagonal: BEAST (The Beast, Roast beast, "Beast Mode")
357 Diagonal: CARVING

Yes, these are all correct. Nicely done!

Spoiler: show
More specifically, I would say the top row features my three favorite black star wars actors. But then I'd have to put Billy Dee Williams in there too. Lando rules.
