Ken,
If Alex was for any reason unable to perform his duties as host of Jeopardy, would you consider applying for the job? The reason for his longevity is more than just his great personality. He does his homework and actually seems to know the answers he gives. He also has a pretty good idea of the wrong answers contestants are likely to give. After events of the past week, I tried to come up with some likely candidates, and you were the most likely fit.
If you are considering this, please let me know so I can shelve of my Canadian geography books and pick up some about Brigham Young and Joseph Smith. Best, Gary H.
