Hedwig allusion? (9/3 post)

When I read the title I was excited to see what I thought was an allusion to one of my favorite movies, Hedwig and the Angry Inch (no, I'm not gay. Or a transsexual) but if it was ever more fully explained or alluded to, I missed it. Did anybody else catch this? Or am I missing something? :?:

You may be missing something, but Lassie isn't. In fact, "she" has a little something extra. Hence the Hedwig ref.
