Did *anyone* get their 8/11/09 Tuesday Trivia?

Postby debramc » Mon Aug 17, 2009 8:00 am

Hello, I'm new here, but I've been getting the Tuesday Trivias for a few weeks. I never got last week's, and I've sent 3 emails requesting one. I've checked my spam folder repeatedly. Now I'm starting to think maybe Ken is taking the week off or something, but I haven't seen any mention of it.
So, I just wanted to check if it even exists. Thanks!

I also did not receive last week's, despite emailing for a re-send.
If you post an email address, I can forward you the questions. You'll have to go a little 'lightning round' to get the answers in on time.

Would you mind doing the same for me? Either by sending me a private message on this site, or by sending an email to id.mercer "at" utoronto.ca

So the notification for this message wound up in my spam folder. :x I guess I missed my chance, but I'd love it anyway to get the previous answers. I'll PM my email. Thanks!!

I'm curious as to whether "Napoleon's penis" was a popular answer. I remember reading in (I think) the Guinness book of records about how Mr. B was buried without it though I don't remember the fine details.

Mahatma did you get my PM?
I thought I sent it last night, but it's in my "Outbox", not "Sentbox", so now I'm wondering if it got sent. And I can't figure out how to resend. (I really don't have trouble with other forums; I only look like an idiot on "smartypants" sites. )
Anyhow, just in case, my email is djlanius@yahoo.com - that's an L not i in the third position.

Debra, I just sent last week's questions, although it's obviously too late now. Sorry for that. I didn't get your PM 'til this AM.
Good luck, and keep my address handy. I'll gladly forward the questions any week you miss them (assuming that I get them, of course).

Thanks! I did get today's quiz. And your message went straight to my spam folder. (Apparently every single legitimate message I get that's not on my contact list goes to spam, but somehow the actual spam makes it through. <sigh>)

It also got a mention in "The Book of Lists" as one of the unusual things offered for sale at auction!

Ah, then it was probably "The People's Almanac" where I read it; they did a fair amount of crossposting to those two books. I'm not sure how it would fit into the Guinness Book of Records, unless it fetched a higher price than Van Gogh's ear.
