William Hung was in town (in Seattle) on Tuesday because of the American Idol auditions. I didn't actually see him, but a number of people who had been outside longer than I had did.

Yes, I did the American Idol auditions. It was mainly for fun and partially so that I could go around saying that American Idol rejected me (apparently they're not looking for folk singers, hahaha).

Let me tell you, nothing says fun quite like singing "We Built This City (on rock and roll)" 37 million times with 9000 other people. Oh yeah, and hearing every girl (and some boys) under the age of 20 scream "I love you Ryan Seacrest! I want to marry you Ryan Seacrest!"

Holy cow, it sure is! (It's also because of them that we had to take a million more takes on everything than would have otherwise been necessary, oh yeah, and people yelling "put the camera over here!!!")

Nope, not January yet! Haha. It's funny, I don't think I've ever watched a full episode of American Idol. (I was hooked on "So you think you can dance" this summer, though.)
