Name three movies where Bill Murray interacts with a rodent.

2 came to me immediately, the 3rd took another minute or so. I remembered it because it was on TV a month or so ago.

I've actually never seen the third. (I'm assuming we're thinking of the same movies.) I noticed the connection between the first two a long time ago, and then it occurred to me today that even without having seen the third, it seemed plausible that it would qualify, given who Murray plays. A little reading of plot summaries confirmed my guess.

Maybe we're not thinking of the same 3 movies, at least not in the same order, because in my 3rd you probably would have had to see the movie to know about the rodent. In the other 2, one of them has an iconic rodent character, and the other has an iconic real-life rodent character. I'm guessing you're talking about that last one.

The three movies that I'm thinking of were released in 1980, 1993, and 2004. I've seen the first two many times, but never seen the 2004 one.

Interesting. My third was in 1988, not 2004. I've seen the 2004 one but it's been a while and I don't remember a rodent. Also, there's a 2009 movie that might count.

EDIT: I was thinking of the wrong 2004 movie, although it's plausible there'd be a rodent in mine as well. My 2009 movie counts in the same way your 2004 does.

'80, '93 and '99 were the ones that came to mind immediately.

Five possible answers ... smells like a Sporcle quiz to me.

In what additional movie was Bill Murray's character directly referred to as a rodent?

Also, I forgot that Bill Murray was in Space Jam (which I never saw). Rabbits aren't rodents, so Bugs Bunny doesn't count, but maybe Murray interacts with some sort of cartoon rodent in that one.

No, but they are lagomorphs, which is the next closest thing, taxonomically speaking.

Are you sure that it wasn't a lagomorph?

Quite sure.

Another character refers to him this way, just before killing him.

Oh! You're right! I bet you a ducat I know what it is now! I have not seen this version, so I am not sure if this reference is in the movie, but I can easily believe that the rodent reference is.

You've got it! I don't remember the line specifically from the 2000 movie, which I saw several years ago, but it occurs at such a pivotal moment that I seriously doubt that it would have been cut.
