I know a couple of bar trivia hosts from different companies who are sick of "That's What She Said" and "Suck It Trebek".

I suggest getting inpiration from The Onion A.V. Club's list of band names.

If you're a Simpsons fan, there are a lot of phrases on that show that were coined when a character was trying to think of something clever, but failing.

My quiz bowl team when I was a student was actually called "Feast of Maximum Occupancy" for more or less the above reason: it's an allusion to a failure to come up with a clever name for something when put on the spot.

The place where I play trivia has some fun names, but the one that makes me laugh every time is Jews Against Jesus.
