I guess I'm asking about reg'lar ol' broadcast TV here: my fave raves for this season are Up All Night-good writing, good acting and just plain funny. Also, Grimm, a reimagining of Grimm's fairytales as contemporary cop show. Any takers on this thread?

Comedy: New Girl - just "laugh till you can't breathe funny" when it's at it best.
Drama: I've been consistently pleasantly surprised by Once Upon A Time. Yes, it's an absurd premise, but once you get over that, there's some wonderful plot twists.

I'll second Up All Night if we're sticking with broadcast channels, but in a couple of weeks I might be saying Smash. I've only seen the pilot, but I LOVED it.
If we can expand to include basic cable, I'll add Up With Chris Hayes, Saturday & Sunday mornings (7-9 one morning 8-10 the other) on MSNBC. The smartest political roundtable show there is.
I wish I had another Up title to include if we expand to include premium cable, but I have to second Homeland in this category. I've only seen one episode of Luck so far, but that may challenge for the premium title.

In the guilty pleasure category, I'd pick Celebrity Wife Swap. Pathetic, I know. And for talk show, I'd pick Rosie on OWN, whatever format she's doing.

I'll second New Girl -- very funny show. Up All Night has been funny when I've seen it. Once Upon a Time and Alcatraz have been good but a bit clunky, and both suffer (at least for me) from the "imagine how much better Lost would have done this" thing. Alcatraz seems promising, though. Heard good things about Smash, but haven't seen it.

Its american idol 2012 season 11. Or another one show is "White Collar". i think this is papuller shows in usa. here is another populler show is the sopranos which i watch its all old shows because i skipped out their shows.

I have been recording "Touch" since the pilot, but hadn't watched it until last week. I really love it. I mostly wanted to watch it because I miss Jack Bauer, but the premise is intriguing even without his particular set of skills.

I watched the first few and then got bored with it. I was hoping for something more than the "number of the week".

I've only watched two so far, but I can see how it could get boring if it's the same thing every episode. I'm still intrigued by watching Kiefer Sutherland be kind of a wimpy guy, when I keep expecting him to bite someone's jugular if they get in his way. (I really loved 24.)
