Fam four

The place to talk. "On topic"? "Off topic"? We make no such petty distinctions here.

Ken's looking for someone else in the picture puzzle, but I'm going to argue for the best wrong answer.

Any picture of the solution would be easier on the eyes than this rebus:

About as fully clothed as I've ever seen her.

No idea who either of the gentlemen is, and so oblivious. Someone please explain!

Sometimes, we can be keen to drop hints, hoping you can arrive at the answer in a roundabout way.

The men are P.J. O'Rourke and Paul Harvey. Even knowing that, I too remain oblivious.

Photo titles now provide a more obvious hint.

LOL at the Lily Allen suggestion. Too bad I can't think of a pop album with "Grandpa's Ghost" in the title...

By the way, a question for clarification purposes: Did Jeff Buckley ever go by "Jeffy"?

Depending on your pronunciation, this could work: Image

The correct answer is P.J. Harvey.

Ahhh, now I get it. I had no clue who the men were -- and still don't -- but with the names it's obvious.

I don't think Buckley ever went by Jeffy, bit I don't know of a singer who would work any better. What I like about the original puzzle is going with Bragg, rather than the more recognizable, but less interesting, Joel or Cyrus.

Hmm, if I'd thought of Billy Joel first, maybe I would have used him. It's pretty hard as is.

No, no one says "Jeffy Buckley." But "Jeffy" now draws the strip as "Jeff Keane," so...

Arrgh, after I spent the weekend trying to shoehorn "poll" into a pun about dollar bills/bucks, it turns out the answer was something I absolutely didn't know. Now if it had been about Gasoline Alley characters I would've got it immediately, but I suppose there are no singer-songwriters named Skeezix.

For other guys you considered, I was expecting to see Billy Idol.

No, but that would be awesome! He could start up a hip-hop label called Jef Damn! Recordings.
